Eventually, the character becomes a member of the Justice League (hero) or The Society (villain), and then must perform missions to level up and hone their skills. There's no dull moment here, as players get thrown right into the action. Once you make your character, you must fight your way out of a spaceship. You're essentially able to create your very own hero or villain character - who hasn't dreamed of doing that? There's more customization involved, as you can choose male or female, hero or villain, body type, personality traits, movement mode, weapons, and special powers.
In DC Universe Online, players create their own unique character that isn't just an existing DC character.
